The place is famous for the well known Turkish art and the great mosques of Sultans.

How to get there?

Sports and nature
There are two airports in Istanbul. Ataturk Airport (IATA: IST) is located 20 kms west from the city centre and the other airport Sabiha Gokcen (IATA: SAW) is located in the Anatolian side of the city. There are many options for airport transfer. There are many airlines like Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Emirates, Qatar, Air France, KLM offering services on this land. The time duration to reach the city centre from Ataturk Airport is 35-40 minutes and from Sabiha Gokcen airport is around one hour. Tram, metros, buses, boats are the options for local transport. and they have special facilities for the disabled people.

There are different districts which concentrates hotels of various budgets. Harbiye, Taksim, Sultanahmet, and western suburbs are few of them. One can find quite pricey hotels in western suburbs. Sultanahmet has apartments also, out of which few are facing blue mosque, Golden Horn.
